This vintage Cephalopagus human Siamese twin or conjoined fetus skeleton is a perfect addition to any oddity or oddities collection or American Horror Story inspired display. Purely for display purposes! Very creepy and very awe inspiring. What makes this specimen unique is the fetuses are attached by the face but have separate bodies.
Hand painted and stained. Has a vintage stain dark brown finish
Has a dark brown stained (unfinished) solid wood base 9.5 x 6.5 inches (base may vary slightly with curved corners)
14 inches tall with base - Skeletons are 13 inches tall
Made of hard plastic
Heads, legs and arms detach (joints do not bend)
Jaws open (suspended with metal springs)
Fetuses sit on metal poles - can be removed
Very minor assembly required.

I AM ALWAYS SUSPECT OF REVIEWS ON LINE AS I AM VERY PARTICULAR, ESPECIALLY CONCERNING ANATOMICAL SPECIMENS. I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THIS CONJOINED FETAL SKELETON REPRODUCTION. THE DETAIL AND CASTING ARE QUITE GOOD AND THE PACKAGE ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER WITHOUT DAMAGE OR INCIDENT. I DID DECIDE TO DISASSEMBLE AND REPAINT IT TO MATCH SOME OTHER SKELETAL REMAINS IN MY COLLECTION...BUT THE ORIGINAL PAINTING WAS MORE THAN ACCEPTABLE. I DO WONDER; WHERE DID THE ORIGINAL MOLD COME FROM? ...FROM AN ACTUAL SPECIMEN OR FROM A SCULPT? ... I REALLY DO LOVE THIS PIECE AND IT IS DISPLAYED PROMINENTLY ON A PIETRA DURA TABLE.
